Today I am a psychotherapist, coach and the host of the popular podcast Black Therapist Podcast where I talk about my on-going struggle to maintain the things I value most in my life. But it wasn’t always so!

My journey from patient to practitioner was born out of my own struggles to learn to be the master my thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

The goal is to make sure my daily decisions move me towards the life I desire, while constantly building relationships that are aligned with who I am. But more importantly who I am becoming, as I grow soar and change.

FIND YOUR HAPPY

Ms Banks is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice and author of the new book and curriculum; “Finding Happy: Seven Steps To Relationships That Will Not Steal Your Joy.

Imagine getting through your next holiday season without wanting to kill your “toxic” family members. What would your life look like if you could renegotiate all the roles you play: in your relationships, at work, or with your family, and friends.

If you had a sure fire way to find and maintain the love of your life how would that change your reality? Imagine being healthy enough to identify your soul mate, when they find you.

Redefine sisterhood! Establish your… “Girlfriend,” “Living Single,” “Sex In The City”… or in my case “Golden Girls,” tribe of women who truly love and support you.

Friends close enough to share your “Waiting To Exhale,” moment with when things get rough.

LENICE SMITH

"This book is a great investment because certain stories and examples the author used can help someone gain a better understanding especially if they’re going through something similar.  I also believe the reflective questions are very helpful for one to gauge where they are in their life.  Are you thinking with realistic expectations, learning to prepare yourself for disappointment are two examples.  These questions can be used at any point of one’s life."

NONI IFE TAYLOR
"This book speaks about the significance regarding self-love. It makes you accountable for self and requires you to do self-work. Once you read this book, a fire will be lit in your soul, inspiring you to get to work and become whole within."
RAVEN G. HOLT

"Banks writes with a relatable tone. It’s as if a girl-friend of mine is telling me to get my act together! Being held accountable is a requirement for growth. As a result I’ve grown richer in my relationships and have learned the importance of cultivating my number one relationship with self."
