In person therapy appointments in my Brooklyn, New York office I am taking on VERY LIMITED new patients right now. My practice is nearly full and all new patients will be waitlisted after my schedule is completely filled. I have some available appointments Monday/Tuesdays/Wednesday daytime and limited evenings, and on Saturdays (my summer Saturdays are also limited). 

Please call your insurance company to confirm your coverage, co-pays and deductibles as you should ensure that full payment is arranged at the time of the appointment if you are not in fact covered.

To become a new client. the process is:

Insurance Clients    

We make our appointments via secure HIPPA compliant text message. That number is the only number where you should send personal, confidential information.  If you have insurance I ask that you send me a picture of your insurance card front and back, and your birthdate as a reply to the text message I send you.    I ask this so your insurance can be validated prior to the appointment date so you won’t incur charges. Some insurance companies have their clients pay a co-pay or deductible for which the client is responsible for at the appointment time. I will notify you of this prior to your appointment or you can confirm this information by calling your insurance company yourself.    Once validated I will send you a list of our available appointment times via text.     

Private Pay     

The first appointment is an intake appointment. This appointment is a little bit earlier than the regular appointment time. You have to arrive about 10 minutes early. The price of the appointment is $160. Regular  individual private pay session is $140, family and couples rates are $240 per session and may or may not be covered by your insurance it is up to you to confirm coverage.      All Appointments    Once you choose an appointment time that is suitable for your schedule you will receive a confirmation link. In order to confirm your appointment you are asked to pay a $25 deposit which holds your appointment time.   

 This deposit is applied to your co-pay, or refundable if show up at your appointment time or you cancel
